I’m looking to get my mom into a rehab in Las Vegas. Does anybody know of a good inpatient rehab center within the $ 600-$ 1000 per month price range? It must be located in a good area, and the center must also treat alcoholism (as opposed to solely drug addiction). Thanks so much in advance! I need to find one ASAP.

I’m doing a research project for a college class about treatment vs. Punishment (jail time) and have read many statistics but would like to know directly from people who have been convicted of drug abuse: did you undergo treatment or just go to jail? Did either benefit you, and how? In your opinion, does treatment / punishment work better?

I don’t know of any one free other than, perhaps, some religious based programs. Everything costs in life. Your husband must have used thousands of dollars in his addiction.

If a person who receives Disability through Social Security goes into treatment at a drug facility (rehab) for a drug addiction, will they RISK LOSING THEIR MONTHLY BENEFITS from Social Security?
Would they also lose any other assistance such as Food Stamps or Medicare Insurance?
