When one hears of substance abuse one immediately thinks of illicit or illegal drugs. However, mind altering substances are legally prevalent in our society with their use having a multitude of consequences. Use this forum to thoughtfully discuss the problems associated with them.
I’m taking a substance abuse class and the teacher gave us this question to collaborate about! Let me know what you think.

Well, I think the questions may be a little biased, but that’s not surprising when it comes to our school systems.

I cant sleep at night, I cant wake up in the morning, I dont have any energy throughtout the day, I have so many stresses that i just let eat at me. And I just want something that would help me out with this until I can do it on my own. I dont want something that would make me feel “high” either. I do not take any drugs right now, prescription or recreational. I just am looking for some names so I can research them before i go to the doctors. Thanks.

Whenever I hear abt ppl becoming addicted to xanax or adder all I always say man that is bulllllls***..
The first thing ppl do when they use pills recreation ally is use like 3 times the.reccomended normal dose and end.up blacking out and being sent to the hospital for drinking on them..
Every review or addiction story I read someone always says..my friend.said they’ll get me high.so I popped like 3 of em. WHY? Without even doing research or talking to a.doctor, u just gone sit there and be irresponsible and pop 5 bars on ur first time and then come on the internet and try to persuade ppl to take these drugs off the.market?? don’t do it. Even if it’s not legal does not mean you can’t get it. Snorting novocaine can kill you or leave you brain dead. Just because the name has “caine” in it does not mean it will get you high and as for whats the leathal dose, everyone has diffrent levels of tolarance and also depends on how much other abuse has been inflicted on the body and how much more it can take.
