My uncle Randy told me that he plans to enter a drug rehabilition center. He said that he wants to get over with his heroin addiction. I know that it is such a good idea and he wants me to accompany him. He said that he needs my support now more than ever. I think he really wants to start anew. My sister is addicted to cocaine and some other substance called “E”. I know that admitting her to a rehab would be costly but I want her to be treated as soon as possible. We’re the only ones left in the family and I don’t want her life to be devastated by drugs. I am so confused about where to look for my husband. He is having his 5th brain tumor removed tomorrow. He has the worst cancer. Glioblastoma Multiform. I can not accept there is nothing I can do. I feel as though he is running out of time. How many more times can they operate? We were looking into Duke in NC. We live in Florida. Any input would be great. He is so healthy otherwise. He is not in pain and not sick. If you looked at him you would never know except for the incision under his hair. He wants to keep fighting and is very positive. His surgeon is in Philly buy we really need to find a drug trial to get him into right away. thanks for any info

I have a friend who is ready to check into a rehab for his drug addiction, however, he is on methadone maintenance and does not want to quit it. I was told by a rehab center in NYC that no New York state inpatient program will accept a methadone patient if they are on more than 40 milligrams, then a mental health clinician told me that is not true. Does anyone know of an inpatient program in the 5 boroughs or Westchester County NY that will allow him to be maintained on methadone? I googled but could not find much. Thanks.

I am looking for a christian based drug rehab in Texas for my brother who has finally decided to turn a new leaf. Since we won;t be able to afford to pay for it I was wondering if there is any kind of rehab that would take him in for free and make him work there to make up for it. Any kind of information would be greatly appreciated. Other states will also do. I need this info really bad before its too late to save my brother. Thanks
